Level indicating glass pipes

Gauge glass tubes used on armatures to control fluid levels in containers and tanks, for boilers of low pressure as well as visual flow indicator. They are made of high-walled borosilicate glass that is resistant to thermal shock and corrosive liquids.
Specifications:
- Max T °: 500 ° C (at the moment)
- Operating temperature T °: 250 ° C
- Density, g / cm3: 2.23
- Coefficient of thermal expansion: (20 - to 300 ° C) 3.25 x 10-6x K-1 according to ISO 3585
- Hydrolytic stability by ISO R 719: Class 1
- Acid stability of ISO 1776, Class 1
- Alkaline durability ISO 695: Class 2
- Ovality by ISO 1101
Resistance to pressure defined as follows:

OD = Outer diameter in mm
Wd = Wall thickness in mm,
P = compressive strength in bar
K / S = Resistant parameter in N.mm 2
Parameter for borosilicate glass 3.3; K / S = 7 N.mm 2 according to DIN ISO 1595
Resistance to pressure is also affected by the following factors:
- The surface quality
- Finishing processing of ends
- Compliance of installation conditions in accordance with the regulations on pressure vessels
- The total length
Gauge pipes are manufactured in length per customer’s requirement with a maximum length of 6000mm. Processing the pipe ends is very important and it is desirable that the customer orders the correct length, which we would create in our facilities. Any further processing with inadequate equipment disrupts the structure of the material and can lead to glass breakage during exploitation.
We have the following dimensions of gauge glass tubes:
