Borosilicate crossline glass (DIN 7080)

This glass due to the low coefficient of expansion ɑ ≤5x10~6 is resistant to thermal shocks and is the most common type of crossline discs.

The glasses are made ​in all standard sizes DIN 7080 and other upon request. They are produced in diameters of 20 - 300mm and thicknesses 1-45mm.

Crossline glass of thermally overstretched soda-lime glass is applied at lower operating temperatures where the maximum temperature does not exceed + 150 ° C (normal operating temperature of 130 ° C). This type of glass due to its chemical composition is not resistant to thermal shocks, as well as the corrosive action of the chemical compound. Typical use is on the applications as protective glass.
